I got to go back to the Midwest after 15 months of living in Utah. This was also the first time back after getting married! Needless to say, it was quite surreal. I took a whirlwind tour of Chicago, the suburbs, the University of Illinois, and Dubuque, IA. Here's just a couple snap shots. (My beloved, long suffering camera finally died on this trip, so there are some holes unfortunately.)

I saw a bunch of "kids" from youth groups that I've worked with over the years. I was overwhelmed with joy and how much they have grown to love the LORD.


My Aunt Joanie came up to visit from St. Louis! My mom goes to my old community college, so we went to visit when she had class. Weird!


Got to see Ben and Rachel in Chicago! Ben's apartment overlooks a pretty lake.
